Over Christmas Break we read The Tale of Despereaux. It was a cute book and fun to read aloud. Then we rented the movie and had fun comparing the two. Now we "play Despereaux" all the time. Behold the Princess Pea, the King, and the rat. I think we will have to look for other books that are also movies to read!

I almost always love the book more than the movie. The notable exception was Mary Poppins. Didn't like that book at all. Have fun!

One of my FAVORITE books! I hadn't thought to read it to my kids yet, though I read it aloud to my second graders. I'll have to pull it out!
I rather enjoyed that book. What a fun family activity!
