Book Bench

Apparently sitting on, or in, our bench is a nice place to read!

Aquarium

Jake and I got to go to the aquarium with a few of his friends (shhhh...don't tell the older kids; we went while they were in school!) and had a fun time. We love it there!

Happy Birthday!

These two are 11! Amazing! I was pretty proud of my artistic efforts; Logan asked for a video game remote and Ali asked for something to do with movies...I loved my popcorn box and xbox remote! Better yet, they loved them too!

The kids talked us into buying them an xbox for their birthdays, and part of the deal was no expensive parties if we did. So Logan had some guys over and they played video games on the new system (and watched each other play...) and Ali had some girls over to watch a movie (and play in the basement and play outside and play upstairs...)

I sure am lucky to be these kids' mom! We love you Ali and Logan!

Ali

Ali made this  cute blanket at Activty Days. Her doggy, Rocky, now sleeps with it (and her) every night.

Green Eggs

Logan cooked green eggs for everyone for breakfast on St Patrick's Day.

Hair Cut

I've started taking Jake to get his haircut at the barbers. After the trauma of the first time, he's done much better for them than he does for me, and I get a big kick out of watching how pleased he looks in the big chair and listening to the stylest make small talk with him--and hearing him chat back to them:)

Besties

Ali drew this picture of her and her three best buds. Friends have become even more important in her world this year, and at least a couple times a week she asks to invite girls over, and usually she wants a whole group of them.

Fingers

Logan can home from school with these new fingers...maybe he's turning into the Wolverine (who is also named Logan)!

Balloons

Every time we get the balloons out, they're a hit. They were super clingy this time, which Jake quickly learned makes them even more fun than usual.
