Ethan's Home!

Elder Wagstaff is home! Jason, Jake and I got to go the airport to welcome him off the plane-so exciting!

We took the other kids over to see him the next day.

And we had to check to see who was taller!

We loved hearing his homecoming talk. We're so grateful for Ethan and his wonderful example!

Hand Me Downs

Being the middle kid, Eli gets the most hand me downs (often by the time Jake needs something, they are worn out and we buy new things) and he's a good sport about it. Even school supplies get handed down around here, and I thought the way Eli edited this Business folder to make it a Band folder was clever! 

Medieval Times

Grandma Eldredge gave us play money for Christmas again this year. We were throwing out ideas to mixed or underwhelming interest. Then I suggested Medieval Times and everyone cheered, so we knew we had a winner.

Our knight (the Black and White Knight) didn't win, but got to the last round. Sigh, as usual.

Grocery Store Spy

More than just Eli and I were entertained by this grocery store spy at the store the other day.

Celebrations!

We took everyone out to celebrate a semester of hard work and fantastic grades. We are sure proud of these kids, for so much more than good grades. Not everyone wanted the same kind of ice cream, but we thought everyone deserved exactly what they wanted, so we divided and conquered.

Silly Boys

Not quite sure what was happening in either of these situations, but both needed to be recorded.

Plays

We spent two weekends in a row going to plays for Ali- one for her school that she tech crewed for (Puffs) and the other to support a friend who was preforming with a local theater (Matilda the Musical). 

Last Present

One of Jake's Christmas presents arrives after Christmas. Since our school break was mostly after Christmas too, that worked out just fine. He spent a lot of time playing with this kinetic sand after he got bored of all his other Christmas presents!

Optimistic

Every time we go to the library Ali gets a bag full of books. During the school year they don't all get read before we take them back, but she likes to have options and I like her optimism! 

Bulls Game

Logan and Eli got tickets to go a Bulls game with their dad for Christmas. This might be my favorite picture of this statue yet (we have a few!)
