Creator

This little guy loves to create. If he's not writing a book, he's creating a game or a scavenger hunt, or a toy...he's practicing because he's sure that when he grows up he's going to be an author (who's also a dad), who makes video games and board games in his spare time, and lives next door to me and just travels to New York City occasionally when his books are ready to give to his publisher.

Mission Prep

Jason has been in charge of a mission prep class designed to get the youth excited about, prepared for, and address concerns about serving a mission. It has been a great success. The first session happened to fall on one of the Elder's birthday, so we embarrassed him by taking some pictures to send home to his mom.

Worth Every Penny

This candy bar was an impulse buy at Christmas- I mean, come on! This goodness had to be shared. It was a little embarrassing how quickly we managed to eat it...

Extra Time

The kids can earn extra technology time by doing something fun together (playing a game, reading aloud, doing a craft). I feel no guilt about this! It's lead to some good bonding!

Football

Logan has been enjoying throwing the football around lately with any interest parties-usually his dad or his brother (also, look how tall Logan has gotten! Eli's not short, but he looks it next to his brother!).

Crafty

This kid loves to craft and the library has had some really fun take home crafts lately. Oh, how I love the library.

Bus Waits

Our bus comes at very inconsistent times, so we often have to wait for more than a few minutes. Sometimes in the fall the kids took advantage of the extra time by playing in the leaves.
