Valentines Day

Valentines Day got kicked off early with a fun package from Grandma Quillen (Logan said, "Oh, good, our holiday package is here!" and Eli said, "I like Grandma, she's nice!" and Ali said, "Matching puppies! They're SO cute!" and Jake said, "Dadadada.") Jason and I celebrated a few days early by buying new couches and going out to dinner. On the actual day we celebrated by going to our newly combined ward in our new 25-minutes-closer-to-our-house building and raising our hands to the square to sustain Jason as a member of our new bishopric. It was a Valentines Day to remember!

Stir Crazy

When we get home from school these days, Eli spends a little time outside climbing the tree or riding his bike or running around until the cold chases him inside (sometimes only a minute or two later). I think he's getting a little stir crazy...

Delighted Driver

Jake loves the little car he got for Christmas; he's happiest when he is sitting on it. He hasn't gotten down moving forward yet, but can move backwards:) He still, at ten months, shows no interest in crawling or even creeping, but he does love to stand while holding onto the handlebars...maybe he'll skip crawling altogether and just walk?

100 Day

On the 100th day of school, the kids were encouraged to come dressed as 100-year-olds, and these two were quite a cute pair of elderly people!

An Education

Some skills, like the importance of dressing up in costumes as often as possible, need to be learned early. Good thing Jake has a master teacher!
