Cousins

We had lots of fun cousin time. Kai smiled and chatted with Ali; SO sweet.
Out for a walk around town.
Grandma spoiled us at one of her favorite candy shops.
Always fun to pose like random statues.

Teaching cousins the joy of video games.

Playing with babies can be fun!
Grandma made individual cakes for the 1.5 million family birthdays in April and May and we had a party!

Visit to Colorado

Korrali was getting baptized, we wanted to meet baby Kai, and tickets were cheap: the perfect reasons to go to Colorado! Jake, Eli, Ali and I flew out and had a great adventure.

Waiting is hard.

But flying is COOL!
Grandma and Grandpa's house is so fun (and so are they!).

Highlights Magazine

Jake's Aunt Amy and Uncle Steve got him a subscription to Highlights magazine for his birthday. Do they know this kid, or what?!

After the Library

This is what happens when we get home from the library; quiet reading. It's the best (actually, these kids are the best, but this is pretty cool too).

Money, Money

Logan decided he just wanted cash from us for his birthday, and he wanted it all in $1 bills so he could have a big stack of money in his safe. It's fun to make little dreams come true.

Flag Football

Eli did a couple rounds of flag football with our park district and had a great time. Before I signed him up, I warned him he'd probably have to wear a mask the whole time (he did), and that it may just be drills but not real games (they did have "games"-playing against each other), and he said, "I don't care as long as we get to play!" I'm so thankful some things are opening up again for the kids!

SIX!

Our charming, smart, creative, loving little boy is six! He's been so excited for the day to come, and it did not disappoint. He loved being the center of attention and getting lots of fun new toys. Happy birthday, Jake. We love you!

Jake wanted a pokemon party (mostly because he gets little toys on the tops of his cakes, and he decided more pokemon toys would be cool). We made this awesome punch game instead of having a pinata and it was so fun! He had about six friends come help him celebrate and had the best time ever.

Rollerblading

Now that the weather is finally nice again (sometimes), Ali is working on one of her goals of getting better at rollerblading.
