Thankful

I sure am thankful for this crew--they are everything!
Jake made us all laugh with his dessert choice: pie, ice cream and carrots. And then he didn't eat the pie! And of course he dressed to help me cook!
Jake's preschool had a "friendsgiving" feast where they encouraged the kids to come dressed up and took cute pictures of them!

Engineering Hand

Eli had to make a "moving hand" for cub scouts and we came up with this cool creation!

Callings

Being involved with both the cub scouts and the young women for my callings, I've been able to do some cool things that I've been able to include my family in.

I organized a trip for our pack to go to a fire station. Minutes after we got there, they had to leave on a call, so we got to see them in action! We waited until they came back and then got our tour.
We raked leaves for service with the Young Women and Young Men. People were shocked when we offered to rake their leaves-for free! "Why are you doing this?!" one woman asked. The youth really had a great time, which was fun to see.
We went to Feed My Starving Children and the kids always enjoy that. It's good to be reminded that things we take for granted-food!- are things others in the world don't have!

I love the good our church does and I love being a part of it with my family!

First Band Concert

Ali and Logan are thriving in Middle School and it's so fun to watch. They have loved learning new instruments: clarinet for Ali and Saxophone for Logan. We went to their first band concert about a month ago and the teacher took the opportunity to walk us through their progress, from the first note each instrument group could play, to two or three-note songs, to one full and amazing song, It was a fun night.

Jesse and Deni's Sealing

I got to go to Utah to see my brother Jesse and his sweet bride Deni be sealed.

It was fun to see so much family, including my parents, all but one of my siblings, some nieces and nephews, several aunts and my grandparents. My dad got to see both of his sisters and Grandma wanted a picture of her kids.

I loved spending time with my Grandparents and watching how sweetly my grandma serves my grandpa.

Waterfall Hike

On a day off of school, we took a little hike to this little waterfall. We enjoyed the nice day and took tons of pictures. Even though it wasn't the most impressive waterfall we've ever seen, it was still fun.

Field Trip

I got to go on a field trip with Jake. The trip itself was a little underwhelming, but the company was great!

Ali and Logan have a lot more homework this year than ever before, but she still finds time every day to do this!

Grandma Came

My mom came for my birthday and we loved having her here! She helped me with the kids' Halloween party, my birthday party (I invited everyone over open house style on my birthday to snack and visit!), babysat so Jason and I could go out on two dates, did several sewing projects for me, made dinner a couple of times, took the kids out to eat and so much more! Thankfully she snapped this picture of her out with the kids-I meant to take more! Love you mom!
