Trunk

For some reason the trunk was the place to be this afternoon.

100 Year Old Eli

Eli's school celebrated one hundred day by having the kids dress up as 100 year olds. Eli looked super cute in his glasses and tie.

He loved his glasses so much that he still wears them often. He calls them his reading glasses and looks adorable in them. (He's apparently being an Eastview Eagle--his school's mascot-- here.)

Happy Birthday!

These two fabulous kids are nine! How in the world did that happen? We had so much fun celebrating with Ali who is smart, helpful and lovely and with Logan who is thoughtful, creative, and handsome. We love these kids and are so glad they are a part of our family!

We took Logan and his friends to the Lego Batman movie in the morning:

And then took Ali and her friends to the new Beauty and the Beast in the afternoon!

Sewing

Ali spent a few days sewing clothes for her dolls with tissue paper and string. Then she moved on to pillows, blankets, and pets for her dolls:)

Super Bowl

The day of the Super Bowl the kids all decided they were Falcon fans (never mind they had probably never heard of the team a week before this), and had so much fun making signs and gathering all their stuffed animals to be the fans and then of course signs for all the fans:)

They were devastated when the Falcons lost, funny kids!

Critter on the Tablet

One of Jake's favorite things to do is to watch the Little Critter Books we have on the tablet. 

Sunday Best

Eli was so pleased with his look this Sunday that he needed a picture. Could he be any cuter?

Pillars of Society

Ali and Logan's school have been teaching the kids about six pillars of characters, one each month, and each month they choose one kid per class who especially represents the character trait and they give them a certificate and an invite to a special pizza party with the principal later in the year. Ali received the award for fairness and Logan received the award for respect. We are so proud of our kids!

Piano

We got something else to make noise in our house...I mean we got a piano:) No, actually I already love hearing the "songs" my kids come up with that are often surprisingly pretty and soft, except for when this one plays and yet I think he looks adorable doing it.

Indiana Jones

The kids watched Indiana Jones with us and they also have a Wii game of it that they love, so that lead to playing Indiana Jones. I love it when they play together!

Copy Cereal

Eli was eating a bowl of cereal at the counter and Jake decided he needed to be just like him.
