Play dough

This Mommy finally decided to teach her kids the joys of play dough. We made cookies, castles, pizzas, snowmen, snakes, letters, baskets, and had so much fun!
I added peppermint extract to make it smell yummy as well as glitter and food coloring to make it pretty.

Dress Ups

The girls, including the dollies, were dressed to the nines,
and the boys were ready for combat, or super-heroing, whichever was necessary.

Computer Helper

Whenever I'm doing something at the computer desk, this is where Eli thinks he belongs. There is no peace unless I let him, so I do.

A Parade!

Ali and Logan have recently discovered, and fallen in love with, the cartoon "Olivia." They love that she has such a funny imagination, and I love that my kids have decided to try out some of her ideas. One such idea was to have a Parade!
I'm sure we were quite a sight marching up and down our street on one semi-warm day a couple weeks ago. Even Eli got in on the game!

Buddies

One of my favorite things about Ali and Logan is that even if there is plenty of room for them to spread out, most often they choose to watch TV sitting right next to each other.

An Angel, a Bull, and a Big Boy

Ali and Logan were  ridiculously pleased with their outfits the other morning. Ali's was a hand-me-down from her cousin Emily (her favorite kind of clothing); it was a cute pink shirt that said "angel" and has the cutest touch--angel wings on the back. Logan's was a Bull's shirt that was about three sizes too big and short sleeved that we found on napervilleyardsales. But once he saw it he had to wear it, so we put a turtleneck under it and figured no one would care if it was baggy.
All day long Ali narrated her life: " 'I am hungry,' says the Angel." And she refused to answer to anything other than Angel. Logan told me all about all the people he scared at school with his "tough Bull shirt!" And he would only answer to the name Logan Bull. What a handsome face!
And Eli was wearing one of Logan's old shirts: 24 month shirts even though he is only 15 months. I love seeing him in Logan's old things.
How did I get three such cute kids?!

Crab

OK, let's be real. Since before Christmas until about two weeks ago, at any moment of the day Eli's face most likely looked like this:
He was not very pleasent to be around. Luckily, Crabby Eli seems to have gone away and we have our sweet boy back. Thank Goodness. And it's about time.

Yellow

They all three were wearing yellow, by chance, so we had to snap a picture:)

Cute Little Mommy

We were getting ready to go to school and I hear Ali say, "I'm ready to go!" and I turn around and see this cute girl:)

Snapshots

It cracks me up to see the way the kids leave their things sometimes.

Bad Manners or Great Compliment?

I know I shouldn't encourage such bad manners, but after years of hearing his picky brother and sister tell me they "don't like" the dinners I cook or that the food I prepare for them is "yucky," I really kind of love seeing my youngest not only scarf down the food I give him but lick his plate as well!
