I wondered what the green things growing by our porch would end up being, and so enjoyed the appearance of these beautiful flowers-Tiger Lily?-a few weeks ago. Logan excitedly told me one morning, "Mom! Good news! Some buds opened last night! Our flowers are blooming!" Wow, he must have enjoyed their plant unit at school more than I thought he did!

Lilies are the best. It is so fun to hear our kids get grown up vocabulary. Surely they are too young for it though.
