These pictures show the progression of Eli's comfort level at the beach. At first, he didn't want to be anywhere near the water.
Then he found some wade pools that were just his speed: no waves.Then he wanted to be out in the water with the big kids, but he would only do it being held. And he held on for dear life.
But then he wanted down, as long as we held his hand.
And by the last day, he had instinctively figured out how to take a wide stance and bend his knees, and loved to stand all by himself. Well done, Eli!
