I'm combining Rhodes and Hydra, though they were on days 5 and 7, because I have fewer pictures of both. The Medieval City and its 2.5-mile-long wall were built between 1300 and 1520 AD by crusaders from Jerusalem. The Palace of the Grand Masters and the Street of the Knights were fun to see.
You can really see Jason's vacation beard here!
I turned my ankle both in Athens and then again in Mykonos, and miraculously had no pain after the Athens twist and just a tiny bit in Mykonos. But I woke up the morning we docked in Hydra with it pretty sore. Luckily, Hydra was our last stop, and with Lianna's wonderful massage therapy and Jason finding a pharmacy that had an ankle wrap, I was able to get around, but it did change our plans a bit. We opted to find a close beach and not really explore the town much. We did like that it seemed both less busy and less touristy, probably because boats bigger than our smallish cruise ship couldn't dock there; we were the only cruise ship there that day.
