We had a fun 4th of July with a ward breakfast, then a family outing to the pool, and a fireworks show in town. Jake wasn't sure he was happy about staying up that late, and Ali made the observation, "I can see why we haven't done this kind of thing for a few years...it probably wouldn't have been very much fun when we were all around Jake's age..." It was a fun show, though!
