After a big storm, a lot of the drains in our neighborhood got clogged. so we decided to unclog them one evening for FHE. Jake was pleased to be able to push the wheelbarrow all by himself, and then older kids felt pleased with their community service.

What a great, but simple, idea!
I used to do than on our corner occasionally and it was needed! I read of a neighborhood that was flooded because no one thought it was their job to do this.
