I have been grateful again this summer for legos and for the books that give the kids ideas of things to build with them; they spend hours some days building. Ali and Logan spent days building this Ewok Tree House Village:
(And a close up so you can see all the amazing details!)Eli's creations tend to be more simple, but he's just as proud!

That village is amazing. I love that another generation of my family loves Legos! I remember when my aunt brought a set to my brothers from Germany (where she served her mission) and that was our first introduction to them. Legos soon came to the United States, and our family bought more and more, as my brothers would play and create with them for hours and hours, especially on Sundays. When our kids were old enough to use them, they quickly became a household favorite...and so it continues! :)
I love legos...except when they are left on the floor....at night! They seem to foster creativity, cooperative play and there are so many options.
