Boy, would she love our science unit right now. We have meal worms with their pupas, and the adult beetles, silk worms, milkweed bugs, and 4 chrysalis, which are due to have the butterflies emerge the end of this week. SOOOOO much fun!!
reminds me of a visit I took to a fire tower at the top of a mountain. That day everything around that tower was Covered with lady bugs. We were told that they float to a certain altitude... around 5,000 ft and light on whatever they encounter to find mates. It was so astonishing! There were millions!!!
