Seven years ago these two made a me Mommy, something I had wanted to be for as long as I can remember. For me, being a mom is one of those rare things that is even better in reality than in expectation. I love all my kids, and was grateful on Ali and Logan's birthday for an excuse to remember exactly how much they really mean to me.

Thank you for sharing this post. Although, it did bring tears to my eyes...those precious babies made me a grandma for the first time. Just seeing their teeny faces brought all those feelings rushing back to my heart. And then to see their bright faces of today...well, sometime tears just express it best.
