Teacher Apreciation

To say Ali and Logan learned a lot in Kindergarten would be an understatement. They began the year knowing some letters and numbers, but now they can read, write, count higher than 100 by ones/fives/tens, and do simple math. It has been inspiring to watch them learn these concepts for the first time. I am so grateful to Mrs. Manuel and Mrs. Peterson for all their time, love, and patience with my two kindergartners this year. We will miss them!

Those first teachers are so important. They really set the expectations for school for our kids. What a blessing to have good ones.

I second Jeanene's comment! But they, of course, had a mom who was there supporting those teachers and reinforcing all they worked so hard to teach, every step of the way. That is priceless (from a teacher's point of view)!

To me the only appeal to teaching the early grades is watching that excitement and discovery of those early concept. Every little thing is eye opening and fun. But I just do not have the energy for it. Bless the people who do!
