I don't find selfies on my phone from my big ones as much as I used to, but sometimes...

Fancy Dress

Ali had two dresses she was choosing between for prom, and after a very long series of events, we eventually got to keep the one she didn't choose for free! But she's never worn it, and asked if I thought she could wear it to church- I told her why not?! I wore my fancier dress too, and since we both looked amazing (😊) and kind of matched, we decided we needed pictures.

And our photographer reminded me I should get one with him too!

Six Flags

Summer means Six Flags (at least according to my boys)! Logan and Eli got passes for Christmas, and went a few times together and with friends.

Because they'd been a few times already, when Jake and I joined them, they were ok sticking with us all day. They convinced Jake to go on a couple of the big rides (I went too!) and then we showed them some of our favorite smaller rides (we went on the bumper cars three or four times in a row!).

It was a fun day with my boys!

Whitewater Rafting

The last day of our trip, just our family went whitewater rafting. We had an amazing time! The rapids were for about the first 30 minutes, and then the next couple of hours were a beautiful float down the river. Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of the day.

And on the way home, we had dinner at Waffle House :)

Outdoors

One of the best parts of Colorado is, of course, the beautiful outdoors. We took full advantage and went hiking in the mountains, the reservoir, and the Garden of the Gods.

We had to do reenactments of the last time we were there!

Colorado Reunion

This summer, we had a Quillen Family Reunion in Colorado. It was so fun having all the kids and families together. 

I planned a bingo game for the kids and bought little prizes months beforehand. The kids weren't sure it sounded like fun, but then they saw the prizes and realized everyone got to win and win and win!

The cousins who were old enough went to the temple to do baptisms. Jason and I had to get a picture since this was the temple we were married in!

And we all got ice cream after!

We asked my parents to buy fireworks on the 4th and save them for us (Logan even spent some of his money so we could get more!). Lighting them off one evening was one of my favorite parts of the trip.

Pool

One of our ward friends offered for us to use their pool whenever we wanted to this summer, and we took them up on the offer often! We were so thankful for their generosity and had so much fun there on several different occasions.
